Liberation Lounge: The Hip Hop Soul Session Pt. 2

Uhuru! Every second and fourth Sunday of the month, BlackStar Books and Cafe hosts an open mic and live music event featuring local artists, guest performers, and a place for us to feel at home and commune with one another. The Caffe serves fresh, hot Afrikan coffee, delicious san'miches, smoothies, and pastries while poets, singers, rappers, and other talented brothers and sisters share their gifts.
